SASSA Grant Amounts & Increases (2025/2026)
Here are the current SASSA amounts for 2025/2026. Increases took effect in April 2025, with a small top‑up applied in October 2025. Further adjustments expected in April 2026. From April 2026, grant amounts increased per the February 2026 Budget. Old Age (60-74), Disability, and Care Dependency rise to R2,400; Old Age (75+) and War Veterans to R2,420. Child Support increases to R580, Foster Care to R1,290, and Grant-in-Aid to R580. SRD remains at R370.
